ACTi PJSK-0100 PTZ Joystick Control
Overview
The ACTi PJSK-0100 is a dedicated joystick controller for operating pan-tilt-zoom cameras connected to ACTi ENR (Enterprise Network Recorder) systems. This is a physical control surface that lets operators pan, tilt, and zoom PTZ domes from a fixed station — eliminating the need to rely entirely on software-based mouse or keyboard control. Mounted on a desk or control room wall, it gives operators intuitive tactile feedback and faster camera repositioning during live monitoring or incident response.
Compatibility
The PJSK-0100 integrates with all ACTi ENR recorders, including the ENR-110, ENR-130, ENR-230, ENR-330, and ENR-430 series. It connects to any PTZ camera (dome or turret) provisioned within an ACTi recording system via standard network integration — the joystick command is transmitted through the recorder to the target PTZ unit. No special camera firmware or encoder modification is required; compatibility depends on the ENR platform recognizing the camera as a valid PTZ endpoint.
Installation Notes
The joystick connects via Ethernet to an available port on the ENR recorder. Power is derived through the same Ethernet connection where supported, or via auxiliary power if the recorder port lacks PoE delivery. Mount the unit on a desk stand or wall bracket (not included) within operator reach. No special software driver installation is needed beyond the ENR system's standard network discovery — the recorder firmware includes joystick protocol support. Confirm ENR model and firmware version support joystick hardware before ordering.
