Overview

The Aiphone IX-DVF-10KP is an IP-enabled door station designed for secure building entry. It integrates a 1.23-megapixel camera with white LED illumination, a 125kHz proximity reader, and an access keypad into a single unit. This device solves the problem of needing separate components for visual identification, credential-based access, and keypad entry at a single point of ingress, streamlining installation and reducing points of failure. It's suited for flush-mount installations in commercial buildings, multi-tenant residences, or any facility requiring robust access control and communication.

Compatibility

This Aiphone door station is designed to integrate with Aiphone's IX Series IP intercom systems. The proximity reader supports Aiphone 40-bit credentials, as well as HID, AWID, and Pyramid 125kHz card formats. The access keypad functions as a standard input device for PIN entry.

Installation Notes

The unit requires either IEEE 802.3af Class 0 PoE or a 24V DC power supply (PS2420UL). The integrated proximity reader/keypad requires a separate 5-14V DC power input. The door station itself has an operating temperature range of -31° to 140°F (-35° to 60°C), while the reader/keypad component can operate between -40° to 149°F (-40° to 65°C). It features IP65 dust and water ingress protection and IK08 impact resistance. Dimensions for the door station are 13-11/16" H x 7-3/16" W, with the reader/keypad module measuring 4-5/16" H x 3" W x 11/16" D. Flush mounting is required.
