Overview

The Aiphone IX-DVF-10KP is a multi-functional door station designed for secure access control and communication in commercial environments. It integrates a 1.23MP camera with white LED illumination, a 125kHz proximity reader supporting multiple credential formats, and an access keypad. This unit is ideal for flush-mount installations where a single device is needed to manage entry, provide visual verification, and authenticate users. The IX-DVF-10KP is powered via PoE or 24V DC, simplifying installation by potentially eliminating the need for local power supplies.

Compatibility

This door station is designed to integrate with Aiphone's IX Series intercom systems. The proximity reader is compatible with Aiphone 40-bit credentials, as well as common HID, AWID, and Pyramid 125kHz formats. For power, it supports IEEE 802.3af Class 0 PoE. If PoE pass-through is required for downstream devices, an IEEE 802.3at Type 2 PoE+ source is necessary.

Installation Notes

The unit requires a flush-mount installation. The door station itself operates within a -31° to 140°F (-35° to 60°C) temperature range, while the integrated proximity reader/keypad extends this to -40° to 149°F (-40° to 65°C). The camera offers adjustable angles of 15°, 0°, or -8°. It features 2 contact outputs and 6 trigger inputs for integration with other security or automation systems. Network security is enhanced through IEEE 802.1X port authentication.
