Overview

The Bosch IIR-50850-XR is an 850nm infrared illuminator designed to extend the low-light capabilities of surveillance cameras. It provides adjustable IR intensity and beam angles, allowing you to optimize illumination for specific scenes and camera models, particularly in zero-light conditions. This unit is ideal for large outdoor areas, perimeter security, or any application where a camera's built-in IR is insufficient. The IIR-50850-XR features a self-cleaning lens and a durable anodized aluminum housing, rated for extreme environmental conditions.

Compatibility

This illuminator is compatible with any IP or analog camera that utilizes 850nm IR illumination and has sufficient low-light sensitivity. It is designed to supplement cameras requiring enhanced IR performance, particularly those in the Bosch line or other systems where extended IR range is needed. The adjustable beam angles (10°, 30°, 60°, 95°) allow for precise light distribution to match various camera fields of view, from narrow telephoto lenses to wide-angle surveillance.

Installation Notes

Requires a 12 to 32 VDC power supply, consuming up to 52W. The photocell sensitivity can be adjusted from 20 lx to 70 lx, controlling IR activation based on ambient light. The unit includes a 3-meter (9 ft) power cable and a stainless steel mounting bracket. The operating temperature range is -50 °C to +50 °C (-58 °F to +122 °F), with IP66 ingress protection and IK09 impact resistance, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments.
