The Vivotek AO-006 is an IO cable accessory purpose-built to connect external control and monitoring devices to the MA9321-EHTV and MA9322-EHTV panoramic camera systems. This cable is the integration point between the camera's IO interface and third-party relay modules, alarm systems, or edge-based control hardware — solving the connectivity gap when you need triggered outputs or alarm inputs tied directly to your surveillance system without relying on software-only integration.
The AO-006 is specifically engineered for the Vivotek MA9321-EHTV and MA9322-EHTV series. These are 2MP panoramic systems that deliver 360° coverage via fisheye optics and support PoE (802.3af) power delivery. The compatible camera series integrate H.265 and H.264 compression, IR night vision, and DLPU deep learning analytics — all capabilities the AO-006 preserves by providing low-latency IO connections without signal degradation. Do not attempt to use this cable with other Vivotek camera models or non-Vivotek systems; pinout and connector specifications are exclusive to the MA93xx panoramic line.
The AO-006 connects directly to the camera's IO terminal block. Ensure the camera is powered down before making physical connections. Route the cable away from AC power lines and high-voltage switching equipment to avoid electromagnetic interference that could trigger false alerts or erratic relay behavior. The cable length and shielding are optimized for integration within standard equipment racks and control closets; verify cable routing does not create a tripping hazard or exceed the camera's strain relief specifications at the connector.
