Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric ACRD200 is a 300mm wide Inrow Rear Door (RD) fluid-cooled unit designed to manage heat exhaust directly from IT racks. This accessory is crucial for high-density deployments where traditional room cooling struggles to keep pace, ensuring optimal thermal management for critical IT infrastructure by capturing heat at the source. The ACRD200 is engineered for environments requiring precise temperature control and efficient heat dissipation, preventing equipment failure and maintaining performance.

Compatibility

This Inrow RD unit is designed to integrate with APC's NetShelter SX 300mm wide racks. Specifically, it is compatible with the following rack series: SXE, SXW, and SXJ. Ensure your rack's rear door frame is configured to accept the ACRD200 unit for proper installation and sealing. It is not designed for use with standard 24-inch wide racks or other manufacturer enclosures.

Installation Notes

Installation requires connection to a dedicated chilled water loop. The unit utilizes standard G1 1/2" threaded connections for fluid inlet and outlet. Ensure proper torque is applied to fluid fittings to prevent leaks. The unit must be installed on the rear of a compatible APC NetShelter SX rack, ensuring a tight seal against the rack frame to prevent hot air recirculation. Refer to the manufacturer's installation guide for detailed fluid connection and mounting procedures.
