i-PRO NVR-RL-1-64TB-V7 Rack-Mount Network Video Recorder
The NVR-RL-1-64TB-V7 is a 1U rack-mount network video server designed for medium-scale enterprise surveillance deployments. It ships fully configured with Video Insight Enterprise Server software preloaded and activated, eliminating field setup delays. The 64TB raw capacity (48TB usable via RAID 5 across four 3.5" enterprise drives) handles sustained multi-stream recording at 250–300 Mbps on a 1 Gbps network, or up to 1 Gbps recording rate on dual 1GB NICs when demand requires it.
Overview
This is a plug-and-play NVR appliance, not a generic server. It arrives tested, configured, and ready for rack deployment—no OS installation or software licensing required. The single 300W PSU supports the processor, memory, and drive subsystem without external power conditioning. A Xeon 6-core / 12-thread CPU and 32GB RAM provide headroom for edge analytics, event queuing, and multi-client playback. Windows 11 PRO runs the VI Enterprise software stack. Dual 1GB network ports (BASE-T) allow load-balancing or failover without a secondary appliance. Onboard TPM 2.0 handles encryption at rest; the unit supports Windows Credential Guard for domain-authenticated access.
Compatibility
The NVR-RL-1-64TB-V7 integrates with any ONVIF-compliant IP camera ecosystem—Axis, Hikvision, Bosch, Hanwha, Dahua, and others. Video Insight Enterprise natively supports multi-vendor camera streams and can auto-discover ONVIF devices on the network. It also ships with 1-year VI HM+ (Hosted Management Plus) activation, enabling cloud-based failover and remote diagnostics. For larger deployments requiring geographically distributed network video recorders, VI Enterprise licenses can span multiple appliances. The server is not designed for hybrid recorder (analog + IP) setups; it is IP-only.
Installation Notes
Rack mounting requires the included four-post side rails and standard 19-inch rack equipment. The 1U footprint (1.7" H, 17.1" W, 21.5" D) fits standard racks and 42U enclosures. Rear-drive configurations are special order and require extra lead time and commissioning support from i-PRO. Power requirement is 300W fixed (no redundant PSU option in this model). Dual 1GbE NICs should be bonded or configured for explicit failover if high availability is required; consult your network team on VLAN and spanning-tree topology before deployment. The M.2 SSD boots the OS and cannot be user-replaced in field.
