It ships with 20TB of usable storage (one 20TB enterprise 3.5" drive), an Intel Xeon 6-core/12-thread processor, 16GB RAM, and VideoInsight VI Server Edition already installed and activated—meaning zero software licensing delays and immediate deployment. This is a plug-and-play recorder for organizations looking to avoid custom builds and lengthy commissioning cycles.
The NVR-RL-1-20TB-V7 handles recording at up to 1 Gbps and supports a 150–250 Mbps recommended use case, making it appropriate for mid-sized camera networks (typically 6–12 cameras at 1080p 30fps or a mix of resolutions). The 260W fixed PSU and on-board TPM 2.0 encryption keep power and security overhead minimal. All units ship fully configured and tested—no field assembly or OS installation required.
Compatibility
The NVR-RL-1-20TB-V7 runs Windows 11 PRO and comes pre-loaded with VideoInsight VI Server Edition, so it integrates with any VI-compatible camera (i-PRO, Axis, Hikvision, Uniview, and other ONVIF-compliant IP cameras). The two 1GB BASE-T network ports support both recording and live playback traffic; dual network isolation is common in enterprise VMS architectures to separate recording bandwidth from client access.
Storage is fixed at 20TB with one 3.5" enterprise HDD in a non-RAID configuration—no expansion bay for additional drives. If your deployment requires higher retention (more than 20TB), step up to a higher-capacity model in the same SFL-1 family (4TB, 8TB, or 16TB variants are also available). The M.2 SSD boots the OS, keeping the 3.5" drive dedicated to video.

Tower form factor sits on a desk or shelf; dimensions are 13.4" (H) × 3.6" (W) × 11.7" (D), weighing 12 lbs. Two DisplayPort outputs and one HDMI allow local multi-monitor setup for operator stations. Rear drive bay accesses the enterprise HDD; any field replacement will require i-PRO coordination and configuration time. Do not attempt third-party drive swaps—warranty does not cover damage from non-approved parts. The unit ships with Windows 11 PRO, keyboard and mouse not included.
