This appliance handles extended retention across dozens of camera feeds and supports Active Directory integration for enterprise IT environments.
Compatibility
The NVR-SFL-1-4TB-V5 integrates with any ONVIF-compliant IP camera deployment — verify your camera firmware supports ONVIF Profile S or higher before installation. It provides PoE output on dedicated ports (4-channel model: 4 PoE ports; 8-channel: 8 PoE ports; 16-channel: 8 PoE ports), eliminating the need for external PoE injectors when powering compact IP cameras drawing under 802.3af budget (13W max per port). Network bandwidth must be sized for simultaneous ingest across all camera streams; a typical 2MP, 15fps stream consumes roughly 2–4 Mbps depending on scene complexity and codec choice. Installation Notes
Connect power to the DC power input connector before startup — reference your device documentation for voltage specification. Do not remove power while the unit is operating or shutting down; this can corrupt storage or interrupt active recordings. Grounding posts are provided (interface ①). Hard disks insert via slide rails with four-point screw fastening. On 4-channel and 8-channel models, loosen screws on rear and side panels to access the HDD bay. On 16-channel models, loosen bottom-panel screws. Prepare a Phillips #1 or #2 screwdriver. Connect all power and data cables before reassembling the cover. The unit supports microSD card insertion for capacity extension if needed. Allow the device to complete startup fully before initiating recordings — observe LED indicators (RUN, NET, CLOUD, HD) to confirm normal operation.
