The NVR-R-1-48TB-V5 is a 1U rack-mounted network video recorder designed for mid-to-large-scale IP surveillance deployments requiring extended storage and sustained multi-stream ingestion. It ships pre-configured with Windows 10 Pro, a 6-core Xeon processor, 16GB system RAM, and 48TB usable storage (three 16TB enterprise drives in RAID 5). The system handles 150–250 Mbps recording throughput over dual 1GBE ports — a practical baseline for installations spanning dozens of mid-resolution cameras or a smaller number of high-bitrate streams. The recorder is built for environments where retention policies demand months of footage and playback responsiveness matters.
Compatibility
This NVR integrates with any IP camera or encoder outputting RTSP or ONVIF streams over Ethernet. It is compatible with standard network video management platforms supporting Windows-based ONVIF clients and is commonly paired with corporate, retail, healthcare, and institutional camera fleets. The system requires a dedicated 1U rack space, dual GigE network uplinks, and a 300W PSU circuit. Before procurement, verify that your camera management software or VMS platform supports Windows 10 Pro clients and ONVIF ingestion; this model does not ship with proprietary software licensing beyond the OS.
