i-PRO WV-Q117A Pendant Mount Bracket
The WV-Q117A is a ceiling pendant mount bracket engineered for i-PRO IP surveillance cameras installed on suspended ceilings or weak structural ceilings where direct screw mounting is not viable. It hangs the camera from a ceiling frame via a ceiling mount ring and distributes load across C-beams or T-beams, eliminating concentrated point loads that can crack or damage drop-ceiling panels.
Overview
This bracket solves a common integration problem: deploying cameras in office, retail, and warehouse spaces with standard suspended-tile ceilings that cannot support direct drilling or the weight of a wall-mounted dome. The WV-Q117A uses a φ60 mm (2-3/8 inch) through-hole in the ceiling tile and mounting board, then anchors to the structural framing above via a provided ceiling mount ring. Operating temperature range is 10°C to +50°C (14°F to 122°F). Weight is 720 g (1.59 lbs).
Compatibility
Designed for i-PRO surveillance camera models that weigh up to approximately 2.9 kg (6.38 lbs). Confirm your specific camera model is rated for pendant installation before proceeding. The bracket works with both suspended ceilings (C-beam or T-beam framing) and structurally strong solid ceilings when a mounting board is used.
Installation Notes
Requires careful ceiling preparation: cut a φ60 mm (2-3/8 inch) hole in the ceiling tile and a second matching hole in a mounting board that spans the structural framing above. The mounting board requires four φ6 mm (1/4 inch) holes (positioned using the provided template) for attachment to the frame. For suspended ceilings, the mounting board is laid across two C-beams or T-beams. For solid ceilings, secure the mounting board using wood screws or M4 screws (not provided). The anti-fall wire must be installed as a secondary safety restraint. Fasteners and screws are not included in the package — source M4 or wood screws separately based on your ceiling substrate.
