Overview
The NWK1IC is a hardened point-to-point wireless Ethernet bridge designed to span gaps where fiber or copper runs are impractical. It bundles a client unit and remote unit with an integrated 20 dBi antenna (17° beam width) and mounting hardware, delivering 240 Mbps throughput over a 2-mile line-of-sight link. Operating across the 5180–5825 MHz spectrum (IC certified for Canada), this kit solves last-mile connectivity for remote camera sites, distributed tower equipment, and perimeter monitoring where trenching or aerial cable is cost-prohibitive.
Compatibility
The NWK1IC works with any Ethernet-capable surveillance camera, encoder, or NVR that accepts standard RJ-45 input. Port 1 is Gigabit; Port 2 is 10/100 Mbps. The kit pairs with PoE injectors (external — the CNGE1IPS is the recommended model) to supply power to remote endpoints. It integrates with standard network video management systems and ONVIF-compliant surveillance platforms via standard Ethernet protocols. No proprietary drivers or VMS plug-ins required.
Installation Notes
Operating voltage is 24–56 VDC; power consumption peaks at 5 W, drawing minimal load from PoE injectors. The antenna assembly mounts via the included hardware; ensure line-of-sight alignment and minimal obstructions for the full 2-mile range. Temperature rating spans −40°C to +75°C, supporting harsh outdoor and industrial environments. The kit is IC certified for Canada only — verify regional RF compliance before deploying in other jurisdictions. MTBF exceeds 100,000 hours; RF output is +30 dBm. Channel bandwidth supports 5, 10, 20, and 40 MHz configurations to match local spectrum rules and interference environment.
