Hanwha SBP-2CTW1 White Suspended Ceiling Tile for Pendant Mount
Overview
The SBP-2CTW1 is a suspended ceiling pendant mount tile engineered to integrate Hanwha cameras and accessory columns into standard 2'×2' or 2'×4' ceiling grid systems. Built from high-grade cold-rolled steel with a scratch-resistant fused epoxy finish, it mounts above the suspended ceiling tile and hangs from wood or concrete structures via included suspension wire, four turnbuckles, and anchors. The 1.5" NPT (National Pipe Thread) female interface accommodates all Hanwha 1.5" schedule 40 NPT columns and extension pipes. With a 60 lb weight capacity and infinite column placement flexibility within standard grid spacing, the SBP-2CTW1 solves the problem of routing power and network cabling through drop ceilings while keeping camera positioning clean and concealed.
Compatibility
The SBP-2CTW1 is compatible with all Hanwha pendant mount columns and ceiling extensions that feature a standard 1.5" NPT interface. The 4" extension pipe included with the tile allows you to adapt the mounting height within your ceiling cavity. Knockouts are molded into the tile for placement of electrical boxes, supporting integration with standard low-voltage wiring practices. Verify your column or pendant accessory uses the 1.5" NPT male thread before ordering; this tile does not adapt to other pipe thread standards.
Installation Notes
Mount the tile directly above your suspended ceiling grid, then secure it to wood or concrete structure above using the supplied suspension hardware. The tile's female 1.5" NPT thread accepts male 1.5" schedule 40 columns; thread the column in hand-tight, then apply final torque (do not over-torque NPT threads—standard practice is 1.5× the hand-tight point). Verify the 60 lb capacity accounts for your camera plus any extension pipes or accessories before final installation. Knockouts allow passage of network and power cables; drill or punch as needed for cable routing.
