Overview
The Geovision 84-LPC2211-0010 is a 2MP network camera built for reflective license plate recognition on vehicles traveling up to 75 mph in extreme low-light and temperature-stressed environments. IP67 weatherproofing handles outdoor installation from –30°C to 50°C (–22°F to 122°F). The model fits pole, corner, and rack mounting configurations, making it adaptable to traffic enforcement, parking facility entry/exit monitoring, and perimeter access control where readable plate capture in darkness is non-negotiable. Draws under 13W via standard 802.3af PoE — no separate power runs required.
Compatibility
The 84-LPC2211-0010 integrates into any ONVIF-compliant IP surveillance system and video management platform supporting standard H.264/H.265 streams. Mount directly using included adapters: GV-Mount300-1 (convex corner kit), GV-Mount310-1 (concave corner kit), GV-Mount400-1 (pole Ø 4–6"), or GV-Mount410-1 (pole Ø 6–7.5"). Network integration requires Cat5e or higher cabling with PoE capability. If your infrastructure lacks sufficient PoE switch capacity, pair with a GV-POE Switch or GV-PA191 PoE adapter to distribute power.
Installation Notes
IP67 rating confirms sealed enclosure against direct rain and dust — suitable for outdoor and semi-outdoor mounting. Extreme temperature spec (–30°C to 50°C) means no climate control required in uninsulated sheds, traffic booths, or loading canopies. Verify pole diameter before selecting mount kit: 4–6" or 6–7.5" steel strap options available. Single Ethernet run simplifies cable management compared to separate power/video installations. Corner mounts reduce vibration coupling from traffic or wind vs. exposed pole-only designs.
