Overview
The Geovision 84-FE43010-001U is a 4MP indoor fisheye camera delivering 360-degree coverage from a single ceiling or wall mount. This solves the multi-camera sprawl problem in retail floors, office atriums, warehouse loading areas, and facilities where eliminating blind spots without tripling your camera count matters. The 1.05mm fisheye lens captures the full hemisphere in one shot—no pan-tilt, no separate wide and tight cameras, just one unit that covers what three conventional cameras would need to cover. Powered by PoE (802.3af), it draws under 13W over a single Ethernet run, eliminating the need for separate power infrastructure on retrofit installs.
Compatibility
The 84-FE43010-001U integrates with any IP video management system supporting standard IPCAM-category Ethernet cabling and ONVIF-compliant network video protocols. Works with enterprise VMS platforms (Milestone, Genetec, etc.) and mid-market appliance-based NVRs that accept RTSP or ONVIF camera feeds. Does not require proprietary software—standard network video recording infrastructure applies.
Installation Notes
Mount to standard drop-ceiling T-bar or drywall using the included bracket hardware. PoE power sourced from your network switch (any 802.3af port on a managed or unmanaged switch supplies sufficient power). No special tools required—standard Ethernet termination and a Phillips screwdriver are sufficient. Place the camera centrally in the space you intend to cover; the 360-degree field of view is its main advantage, so position for unobstructed sight lines to the perimeter. Avoid mounting directly against reflective surfaces (mirrors, polished metal) that can create lens flare in portions of the panoramic image.
