Overview
The GV-AS4111 is a cabinet-mounted four-door access control panel that manages credential readers and door locks across independent entry points using Wiegand, RS-485, or TCP/IP interfaces — choose the one that fits your existing reader hardware. Deploy this when you need to coordinate multiple doors without a full cloud platform: single-site facilities, building floors, or secured zones where local control and event logging suffice. The panel includes a 32-bit ARM7TDMI processor, a backup battery case (powered by replaceable button cell), a 12V/0.5A per-port power adapter capable of driving up to 8 output devices, and microSD card storage for local event archival. UL 294 certification confirms suitability for access control installations.
Compatibility
The GV-AS4111 supports three reader interface types — Wiegand (standard credential wiegand keypads and cards), RS-485 (for OSDP-compliant readers on GV-AS4111 Cloud firmware V3.00+), and TCP/IP (network-based reader integration). Software compatibility: GV-ASManager V4.2.3 or later (for GV-AS4111 Local) or GV-Cloud Access Control V1.4.0 or later (for GV-AS4111 Cloud). The panel manages one-way or two-way control of four doors, supports 16 digital inputs for door contact, exit buttons, fire sensors, and tamper detection, and provides 24 relay outputs (Local) or 16 outputs (Cloud) for lock actuation, alarm signaling, and access-granted/denied notifications. Compatible with standard 12V electromagnetic locks and access control gate hardware.
Installation Notes
Operating temperature range is 0–65°C (32–149°F). The unit draws power via the included 12V adapter board and backup battery case; ensure adequate cabinet ventilation to stay within thermal limits. Wall or recessed mounting with included iron box and hardware. Wiegand readers require dedicated signal lines; RS-485 allows daisy-chaining multiple readers on a single twisted pair. TCP/IP integration uses standard 10/100 Ethernet — no special networking required, but ensure network stability for real-time door control. The microSD card (2GB, pre-formatted and installed) logs all access events locally; check card capacity monthly on high-traffic installations.
