Overview

The Geovision GV-IRB is a dedicated infrared button control module designed to trigger AC-powered devices in surveillance deployments. It solves the problem of controlling lighting, door locks, PTZ cameras, and auxiliary relays without running dedicated hardwired control lines through walls or ceilings. Installation Notes

The GV-IRB is designed for wall-mount or console-based installation in control rooms. It provides IR-based signal transmission, which eliminates mechanical relay wear and allows operators to trigger external devices from the monitoring station console. No dedicated hardwired control runs are required — the infrared channel communicates wirelessly to compatible AC load switches and auxiliary relay outputs in your system.
