The Geovision GV-PA191-55 is a PoE power adapter that injects 802.3af-compliant power directly into an Ethernet cable, enabling you to place an IP camera anywhere a network drop exists — without requiring a separate power outlet nearby. Output is 19W maximum at DC 48V, 400mA, sufficient for single-camera deployments where centralized PoE injection isn't available or where your existing switch lacks sufficient PoE budget for all devices on a run.
The GV-PA191-55 is designed for Geovision IP camera systems and any ONVIF-compliant device rated for 802.3af PoE power delivery. Verify your specific camera model's power requirement against the 19W maximum before deployment — devices drawing more than 19W will not power reliably. The adapter works over CAT5 cabling at distances up to 100 meters (328 feet) from hub to camera.
Operating temperature range is −10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F), limiting use to indoor and climate-controlled environments. Do not expose to moisture or outdoor weather. The compact form factor (43 × 69 × 40 mm) allows placement on a shelf, wall mount, or equipment rack without significant real estate consumption. Weighs 0.29 lb. Connect power input (DC 48V) to an external power supply rated for 400mA minimum, then connect the Ethernet cable from your network hub/switch to the adapter's input port. The output port connects directly to the IP camera via CAT5 or better cabling.
