The Middle Atlantic IBGR-552FT-FC is an active fan top panel for BGR-series open-frame racks, purpose-built to manage thermal load in densely populated enclosures. Eight 4-inch (10.2 cm) fans deliver 552 CFM of total airflow — enough to exhaust heat from fully loaded AV, network, or surveillance equipment racks without relying on room HVAC alone. An integrated fan controller is included, letting you tune fan speed to balance noise against cooling demand rather than running full tilt around the clock. Rated for 200–240 V AC input with 12 VDC output, the IBGR-552FT-FC is suitable for international deployments as well as standard North American 208/240 V circuits. The panel profile is shallow at 1.53 inches deep, so it adds minimal height to the rack stack.
Compatibility
Designed exclusively for the Middle Atlantic BGR series open-frame rack line. Confirm your BGR rack width before ordering: the IBGR-552FT-FC mounts at 22.38 inches wide (56.9 cm) and 15.72 inches tall (39.9 cm). It is not cross-compatible with Middle Atlantic's ERK, PFD, or L-series enclosures. If your installation uses a non-BGR Middle Atlantic rack, verify the fan top SKU against your specific rack model.
