Overview
The E-10-WHA-EWP is Viking Electronics' weatherproofed variant of the E-10 series VoIP entry phone, built around a white powder-coated aluminum faceplate and fitted with Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) — foam rubber gaskets, sealed boots, gel-filled butt connectors, and urethane or thermal plastic potting. Where the standard E-10-WHA tops out at 95% non-condensing humidity, the E-10-WHA-EWP is rated to 100% humidity, making it the correct choice for vestibules, covered exterior entries, car wash bays, loading docks, or any installation where condensation or direct precipitation is a real factor. It operates on a single Cat5e/Cat6 run drawing under 4W via IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 1 — no separate power supply, no additional wiring runs.
