Power comes from a single CR2032 button cell battery drawing ≤7mA during transmission, yielding multi-year runtime on a standard replacement battery.

Installation Notes
Operating temperature range is −10°C to +55°C; keep relative humidity below 80% (non-condensing) to prevent battery corrosion. ABS plastic housing resists light impact and UV exposure typical of indoor/outdoor transitions. Replace the CR2032 battery when transmission range noticeably shortens or the button fails to activate the panel — no tools required. Test transmission range at installation by placing the button at the farthest intended carry point and confirming panel reception.
