Description

ELK Products ELK-319DWM Wireless Security Keypad

Overview

The ELK-319DWM is a wireless keypad accessory for ELK Products security panels, designed to deliver credential entry and system control without running new wire to remote mounting locations. Solves the retrofit problem: when you need keypad access at a door or zone but hardwiring back to the main panel is impractical, the ELK-319DWM eliminates that labor cost and disruption by operating wirelessly. Mounts to standard keypad gang boxes or surface enclosures — use it portable or wall-mounted depending on your access point layout.

Compatibility

The ELK-319DWM integrates with ELK Products M1 series control panels and compatible architectures. Before deployment, confirm your specific panel model supports wireless keypad enrollment; wireless keypads transmit credential entries to the panel for validation rather than storing codes locally. Third-party panels or legacy ELK systems may require gateway translation — check your panel documentation for enrollment procedures and supported wireless protocols.

Installation Notes

Operates on battery power or optional 12VDC supply. Wireless commissioning requires clear radio range to your receiver module and frequency coordination to avoid interference with other RF systems on site. Building materials, adjacent RF sources, and antenna placement all affect range and reliability — test units before rolling out across multi-building campuses. Mount securely in unsupervised areas to prevent tampering or removal. Program user codes and access levels through your panel's user database; do not attempt to configure credentials directly on the keypad.
