Installation Notes
Tape or tack the template flush against the mounting surface before marking. Score the perimeter cleanly with a utility knife or fine-tipped marker; do not flex or stretch the template stock during tracing as dimensional error accumulates at corners. Cut to the inside of the scored line when using a jigsaw or oscillating tool to preserve the fit tolerance. The template is a single-use consumable on most installations — order one per rough-in location.
