Installation Notes

Installation is tool-free or requires only a screwdriver depending on the enclosure's device retention mechanism. Seat the plate flush against the device bay opening and secure per the enclosure's standard fastener pattern. Do not force-fit — misalignment against the bay frame can bow the plate and leave gaps that defeat the dust seal. For enclosures deployed in conditioned equipment rooms or AV closets, a properly seated blank plate also contributes to consistent internal airflow routing across network racks.
