The PNL65-BN is a factory-matched replacement faceplate for the Viking Electronics E-65 Series video entry phones. Finished in oil rubbed bronze with color-matched screws and a LED light pipe, it restores or customizes the front appearance of an installed E-65 unit without requiring any hardware replacement. The typical deployment scenario: a building owner upgrades interior finishes or replaces a damaged panel on an existing E-65 installation and needs a finish that matches oil rubbed bronze door hardware rather than the standard silver or black options.

Compatibility

Designed exclusively for the Viking E-65 Series entry phones. The E-65 Series are compact, weather-resistant video entry phones rated IP67 (IP66 on EWP variants) for outdoor flush-mount installation. The PNL65-BN mounts to a standard double gang box — the same rough-in box used by the E-65 — so no additional backing plate or adapter is required. It is not compatible with other Viking series such as the VCAM-2 (that series uses the PNL-VCAM-2-BN faceplate).

Installation Notes

Installs over an existing E-65 on a flush-mount double gang box. Faceplate dimensions are 4.875" x 4.938" x 0.17", matching the E-65 footprint exactly. Operating temperature range is -30°F to 150°F, consistent with the host phone's outdoor rating — no additional weatherproofing is needed beyond what the E-65 installation already provides. Color-matched screws are included; no additional fasteners required. This is a cosmetic panel replacement only — all electrical and audio/video connections remain on the host phone body.
