Description

ACTi DSX-8626 86-Inch 4K LCD Display

Overview

The DSX-8626 is an 86-inch flat-panel LCD display with 3840×2160 (4K UHD) resolution, built for surveillance monitoring and command-center environments where you need to render multiple camera feeds or a single high-detail scene across a large viewing surface. The 4K native resolution means you can display four simultaneous 1080p streams (2×2 layout) with full clarity, or run a single 4MP+ camera feed across the full panel without interpolation artifacts. This is a display-only device — it integrates with any video management system or multiview controller that outputs HDMI, DisplayPort, or networked video.

Compatibility

The DSX-8626 works with any surveillance VMS or multiview system that outputs standard video signals (HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI). Common integration scenarios include pairing with network video recorders running Milestone, Exacq, or ACTi's own control software, or feeding from a dedicated PoE switch with video-out capability. No frame-grabber or specialized controller is required if your VMS has a standard video output. Wall-mount installation is standard for control rooms; tabletop stands are vendor-supplied separately.

Installation Notes

The DSX-8626 is a passive display panel — power requirements are standard 110–240V AC input via a supplied power cord. Mount the unit on a VESA-compatible wall bracket (not included) rated for the panel weight (approximately 140–160 lbs depending on bezel trim). Ensure adequate ventilation behind the panel and a stable power supply with surge protection. Input signal must originate from a video source capable of driving 3840×2160 resolution; verify your VMS or controller supports 4K output before purchase.
