Description

Middle Atlantic V2417D Divided Internal Elbow Fitting

Overview

The Middle Atlantic V2417D is an ivory-finish divided internal elbow fitting designed for use with Middle Atlantic's 2400D raceway and cord cover systems. This fitting handles directional changes inside a raceway run — specifically internal corners — while keeping the divided channel separation intact so low-voltage signal cables and power runs stay segregated through the turn. If you're routing structured cabling around interior wall corners and need to maintain wire separation discipline required by NEC and low-voltage installation standards, the V2417D is the correct fitting to spec. It is TAA-compliant, making it suitable for federal, state, and municipal installations where Trade Agreements Act sourcing is a contract requirement.

Compatibility

The V2417D is designed for the Middle Atlantic 2400D series divided raceway and cord cover system. The divided internal designation means it is specifically for internal (inside) corner transitions on the 2400D raceway family — do not substitute with an external elbow fitting or a non-divided elbow, as neither will maintain the channel divider alignment through the bend. Verify your raceway series is 2400D (not 2400 non-divided or an alternate size series) before ordering. The ivory color matches the standard 2400D ivory finish; confirm your installed raceway color matches before ordering if aesthetics are a project requirement.

Installation Notes

Install the V2417D at internal wall corners where the 2400D raceway changes direction. The fitting connects the two raceway runs meeting at the corner and preserves the internal divider, keeping separate cable groups — typically data/signal on one side, power on the other — routed through without contact. No tools beyond standard hand tools are required for fitting installation. Confirm corner angle matches the fitting geometry before installation; this is an internal elbow and will not fit external (outside) corner transitions.
