Overview

The CyberPower ST625U is a 625 VA / 360 W standby UPS designed to provide essential battery backup and surge protection for sensitive electronics. Its compact form factor and keyhole mounting slots make it suitable for deployment in tight spaces, such as behind workstations or within network closets, ensuring your critical surveillance equipment, network switches, or workstations maintain operation during brief power interruptions or voltage fluctuations. The ST625U features GreenPower UPS™ technology for energy efficiency and is Energy Star certified.

Compatibility

This UPS is designed to support a range of electronic devices including, but not limited to, network video recorders (NVRs), managed network switches, workstations, and other low-power IT equipment. Its NEMA 5-15P input plug is standard for North American outlets. The unit provides 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets, with 4 offering surge-only protection and 4 providing both surge and battery backup. It also includes 2 Type-A USB charge ports (shared 2.1A) for charging mobile devices or powering small USB peripherals. The unit supports HID-compliant USB connection for management.

Installation Notes

The ST625U has a 5 ft (1.5 m) cord length, allowing for flexible placement relative to the power source. It operates within a temperature range of 32 – 104 °F (0 – 40 °C). The unit features keyhole mounting slots for wall or surface mounting. While the battery is sealed lead-acid and field-serviceable by a qualified technician, it is not hot-swappable or user-replaceable. The UPS includes a resettable 15A circuit breaker for overload protection.
