Description

PioneerPOS KC8FCF05003Z Commercial PCAP Touchscreen Terminal

Overview

The KC8FCF05003Z is a 15-inch capacitive touchscreen terminal built for point-of-sale, kiosk, and retail counter environments. It pairs an Intel i3 processor with 8GB RAM and a 120GB SSD to handle transaction processing, inventory lookups, and customer-facing displays without lag. Windows 10 Pro runs your existing POS software stack directly — no OS licensing surprises. WiFi connectivity eliminates hardwiring constraints in retail layouts where network drops aren't available at every counter.

Compatibility

The KC8FCF05003Z runs any Windows 10 Pro–compatible POS application — including Square, Toast, Toast POS, Lightspeed, Square for Restaurants, or proprietary legacy systems. PCAP (projected capacitive) touch works with gloved hands and maintains responsiveness across temperature swings typical in retail environments (walk-in coolers, heated kitchens). The 15-inch form factor mounts to wall brackets (sold separately) or sits on retail counters with a standard VESA 100x100 base. Connect via WiFi or Ethernet; the device supports both for failover scenarios.

Installation Notes

Wall mounting requires a VESA 100x100-compatible bracket — confirm bracket weight rating matches your installation surface. Power draw is moderate (typical 60–80W during operation); use a standard grounded outlet or PoE injector if wiring through low-voltage conduit. WiFi antenna is internal; position the unit away from metal surfaces and large refrigeration equipment to avoid signal degradation. Windows 10 activation and driver updates are your responsibility — budget IT time for initial imaging and POS software installation.
