Overview

The Panduit UTPSP10YLY is a 10-foot, yellow Cat 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) patch cord. Constructed with 24 AWG stranded copper, it's designed for high-density network environments where clear cable identification and reliable data transmission are critical. Its tangle-free latch and slender strain relief boot simplify installation and maintenance, particularly when making frequent moves, adds, or changes within a rack. The integrated RapidID barcode facilitates quick port mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This patch cord supports various Ethernet standards including 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet), and 10GBASE-T over limited distances as defined by industry standards. It is also suitable for ATM (up to 1.2 Gb/s), Token Ring, and digital/analog video transmission. Its construction meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 standards, ensuring compatibility with standard Category 6 network infrastructure. It supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at and 802.3bt types 3 and 4 Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, meaning it can safely carry power and data simultaneously for PoE-enabled devices.
