Overview

The Panduit UTP28SP6INOR is a 6-inch Category 6, Unshielded Twisted Pair (U/UTP) patch cord designed for high-density network environments. Its compact 28 AWG stranded conductor construction simplifies cable management in racks and patch panels, reducing airflow obstruction and making moves, adds, and changes more efficient. The integrated tangle-free latch on the RJ45 plugs prevents snagging during installation and ensures a secure connection without accidental disengagement. This cord is ideal for applications requiring reliable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and support for high-power Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices.

Compatibility

This Cat 6 patch cord is engineered to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6 and ISO 11801 Class E performance requirements up to 250 MHz. It supports standard Ethernet applications including 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) and 100BASE-T (Fast Ethernet), as well as ATM and digital video transmission. Importantly, it supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE applications for up to 48 cables in a bundle and IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 PoE++ applications for up to 24 cables in a bundle, making it suitable for powering high-demand network equipment without requiring separate power supplies.

The Panduit UTP28SP6INOR features pre-installed RapidID barcodes on each connector, enabling simplified port mapping and network documentation when used with compatible RapidID software.
