Overview
The Comelit UT9162B is a flush-mounted frame designed to integrate two Ultra modules into a wall-mounted video intercom assembly. This accessory provides the mechanical and electrical mounting structure for dual-module deployments, eliminating the need for exposed surface-mounted boxes in retrofit and new construction environments. The UT9162B fits standard flush-mount electrical boxes (compatible with Comelit art. 3110/2 and 3110/2A), making it the right choice when you need a clean, integrated look for multi-module entry control.
Compatibility
The UT9162B frame is designed for Comelit Ultra entrance panel modules only. It accommodates exactly two Ultra modules, which can be positioned horizontally side by side. The frame integrates into Comelit video intercom systems and supports PoE power delivery, eliminating the need for a separate power supply at the door station. Confirm your existing Comelit modules match the Ultra specification before ordering — this frame is not backward-compatible with legacy Comelit entrance panel designs.
Installation Notes
The UT9162B features a metal support that secures modules without screws, reducing assembly time and hardware requirements. The die-cast aluminum finishing frame includes cataphoresis treatment for UV and chemical corrosion resistance — important for exterior-facing installations. The frame protrudes 10 mm (0.39 in) from the wall surface. Overall dimensions are 125.5 mm wide × 226.5 mm tall × 35 mm deep. Install into standard electrical boxes designed for flush-mount intercom hardware. Verify that your PoE power source and cabling reach the wall location; the frame itself does not include power conditioning or surge protection.
