The Code Blue 40192 is a PoE-powered visual alert beacon designed for security systems and emergency response integration. The S-2000 strobe delivers up to 375 flashes per minute at 270 lumens (92 candela brightness), sufficient for doorway and corridor notification in indoor and outdoor deployments. The included mounting bracket simplifies wall and ceiling installation without requiring dedicated low-voltage runs — power comes directly from your network PoE switch via 802.3af, reducing panel-side wiring complexity.
Compatibility
The 40192 integrates with any PoE-capable network switch rated for at least 13W per port. It operates on 12–24V AC/DC, making it compatible with both standard PoE injectors and UPS-backed network power supplies commonly found in security cabinet installations. The strobe pairs with IP-based access control systems, NVRs, and video management platforms that support relay or GPIO triggers for alert activation.

IP56 rating handles dust and direct water spray, suitable for covered outdoor mounted locations and wet indoor areas (loading docks, vehicle bays) — not submersion-rated.
