Citizen IF2-EFX3 Ethernet Interface with XML Feature
Overview
The IF2-EFX3 is an Ethernet interface module that adds network connectivity and XML command support to select Citizen label and receipt printers. It enables direct integration into networked print environments where multiple systems need to send print jobs and configuration commands over standard Ethernet — eliminating serial or USB bottlenecks in high-volume warehouse, retail, or manufacturing operations.
Compatibility
Install this interface on the following Citizen printer families: CT-E601, CT-E651, CT-S751, CT-S4500, CL-E300EX, and CL-E321EX. Verify your exact model before ordering to ensure mechanical and electrical fit. XML feature support allows remote job submission and device control without proprietary drivers.
Installation Notes
This is an internal module requiring printer disassembly and installation into the designated I/F slot. Consult the printer service manual for your specific model to confirm slot location, connector type, and any firmware prerequisites.
