Overview

The Citizen IF2-EFX2 is an interface card that adds Ethernet (XML) and USB (Host) connectivity to Citizen Ct-E6XX series thermal printers — solving the problem of integrating label and receipt printers into networked WMS and enterprise systems without sacrificing direct machine control. This card plugs into the printer's expansion slot and enables both network-initiated print jobs and direct USB peripheral support (barcode scanners, weight scales, display panels) without external hubs or adapters.

Compatibility

The IF2-EFX2 is designed for the Citizen Ct-E6XX thermal printer family, including the CT-E6XX, CT-S751, and CT-S4500 models. It provides XML over Ethernet and USB host-mode functionality to these printers. Before purchasing, confirm your specific Citizen thermal printer model supports the IF2-EFX2 expansion slot — not all Citizen printers accept this interface card.

Installation Notes

The IF2-EFX2 installs into the printer's I/F (interface) expansion socket.
