The Citizen CL-S700III-EPU is a 203 DPI thermal label printer designed for high-volume warehouse, logistics, and shipping environments. This direct thermal / thermal transfer dual-mode (DT/TT) printer handles standard label stock and addresses the core deployment challenge: reliable, networked label output across distributed fulfillment points without requiring centralized print servers. The CL-S700III-EPU model includes both USB and Premium Ethernet (ES04) connectivity, allowing direct network integration into WMS systems and barcode label generation workflows.

The CL-S700III-EPU works with any WMS or order management system that supports SNMP or standard printer protocols over Ethernet. Compatible with Windows, Linux, and macOS via USB, or networked directly to warehouse automation systems via standard RJ-45 Ethernet. Installation Notes
Ethernet connectivity eliminates USB cable length constraints — mount the printer at the point of use (receiving dock, pack station, shipping sorter) without proximity to a workstation. Standard RJ-45 network installation applies; ensure adequate power supply capacity at the printer location. Direct thermal mode requires no ribbon for standard label stock, reducing consumable complexity. If thermal transfer mode is needed for specialty media, ribbon supply must be staged at the printer.
