Description

Panduit UTP6AX14MOR Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit UTP6AX14MOR is a 14-meter (45.9 ft) Category 6A unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) patch cord designed for high-speed network deployments. Constructed with 24 AWG solid conductors and high-performance modular plugs, this orange cord is engineered to limit alien crosstalk, ensuring reliable 10 Gb/s transmission. The integrated tangle-free latch simplifies moves, adds, and changes by preventing snags and facilitating a fast release, streamlining network infrastructure management. Its pre-installed RapidID barcodes enable simple port mapping with compatible software.

Compatibility

This Category 6A patch cord is rated to exceed all ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, making it suitable for connecting devices within high-performance copper network infrastructure. It is compatible with IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt (PoE++ Type 3 and Type 4) power delivery standards, ensuring it can support powered devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones without requiring separate power sources. The cable construction is suitable for CM (Communications Multipurpose) flammability ratings, typically required for horizontal or riser pathways in commercial buildings.

Installation Notes

The cable diameter is 0.250 inches (6.4mm). The modular plugs are rated for 2500 mating cycles, providing durability for frequent connections. The solid foil tape construction is critical for managing alien crosstalk at 10 Gb/s speeds. Ensure proper cable management practices are followed to maintain bend radius and prevent kinks, which can degrade performance, especially with solid conductor cables.
