Overview

The Panduit STP6X5MRD is a 5-meter, red, Category 6A shielded patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission and Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. It utilizes 26 AWG stranded conductors with a CM/LSZH jacket, ensuring reliable performance in data center environments requiring 10GBASE-T Ethernet, data center I/O consolidation, server virtualization, backbone aggregation, and high-performance computing. The tangle-free latch and slender strain relief boot facilitate easy installation and management in dense rack layouts.

Compatibility

This patch cord is built to exceed ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO 11801 Class EA standards, making it compatible with all 10GBASE-T Ethernet networks. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at and 802.3bt type 3 and type 4 PoE applications, ensuring sufficient power delivery for connected devices without signal degradation. The cable is wired to be compatible with both T568A and T568B wiring schemes.

Installation Notes

The cable jacket is rated CM/LSZH (Communications Multipurpose/Low Smoke Zero Halogen), suitable for use in plenum spaces where required by code.
