Overview
The Panduit CJLR688TGBU is a Category 6 UTP RJ45 Mini-Com™ TG-style jack module designed for 4-pair, 22-26 AWG twisted-pair cables. Its 45-degree left/right angled configuration is critical for improving cable routing in tight spaces, such as network closets or wall plates where bend radius is limited. This module is factory tested to exceed industry performance standards, ensuring reliable data transmission for high-speed network applications. The TG termination style simplifies field installation by eliminating the need for specialized punch-down tools.
Compatibility
This jack module is compatible with all Panduit Mini-Com™ faceplates, patch panels, and modular boxes. It supports standard Category 6 performance according to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D and ISO 11801 specifications. It is also rated to support IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+), and 802.3bt (PoE++) Types 3 and 4, ensuring sufficient power delivery for connected devices like IP cameras or wireless access points. It is suitable for 2500 connection cycles.
Installation Notes
The TG-style termination method on the CJLR688TGBU is designed for tool-less termination, simplifying field installation. Ensure the cable jacket is stripped appropriately to allow for clean termination of the individual pairs. The module is rated for UL 1863 and UL 2043 safety standards.
