The Panduit CJ688TPBL is a Category 6, unshielded, 8-position, 8-conductor (8P8C) RJ45 keystone jack designed for terminating twisted-pair copper cabling. Its blue color facilitates network infrastructure management by allowing for clear identification of network segments or cable types, crucial in enterprise and data center environments. This jack ensures reliable data transmission up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds when used within a properly designed Cat6 system.
This keystone jack is compatible with standard patch panels, wall plates, and surface mount boxes that accept standard keystone connectors. It is designed for use with 23-24 AWG solid conductor Category 6 UTP cable. It integrates into Panduit's Net-Access and Net-Shelter racks and cabinets, as well as generic keystone-compatible mounting hardware.
Termination requires a standard 110-type punch-down tool. Ensure proper conductor seating and color-code alignment according to the jack's labeling. A minimum bend radius of 4x cable diameter should be maintained post-termination to prevent signal degradation. The jack is rated for 200 cycles of insertion/removal.
