Overview

The CM-CPC1 is a low-profile protective cover designed to shield single-gang access control devices—keypads, push/exit switches, and key switches—from environmental damage and vandalism. Molded from heavy-duty polycarbonate, the CM-CPC1 maintains a transparent design so operators can see and activate the device beneath without obstruction. It installs flush to the wall, projecting less than 2 inches, and includes a gasket for weather and dust sealing. Use this cover in outdoor installations, semi-exposed corridors, or vandal-prone indoor environments where false activation or physical damage is a concern.

Compatibility

The CM-CPC1 fits any Camden flush-mount, single-gang door activation device, including keypads, push/exit buttons, and key switches. It is not compatible with pull stations or gang-mounted configurations. Verify that your existing device is a single-gang, flush-mount Camden unit before ordering. The transparent lift-cover design does not obstruct keypad tactile feedback or button operation.

Installation Notes

The CM-CPC1 is supplied with a gasket for indoor or outdoor use. No special tools or wiring are required—it mounts directly over the existing flush-mount device. The cover operates across a temperature range of −40°F to +250°F (−40°C to +121°C), making it suitable for extreme climates. The polycarbonate construction resists impact from accidental strikes and deliberate vandalism. Ensure the underlying device is properly installed and tested before installing the cover.
