Camden CM-120TX Outdoor Vandal-Resistant Metal Backlit Keypad
Overview
The CM-120TX is a battery-operated wireless keypad designed for outdoor and semi-outdoor access control where wired infrastructure is impractical or impossible. It pairs with Camden's LazerPoint RF receivers (CM-RX-91 or CM-RX-92) to deliver 2-channel wireless control over electrically locked doors, magnetic locks, or electric strikes. Typical deployments include storage facilities, recreation centers, pools, saunas, and freezer rooms—anywhere you need keypad entry without running conduit or power cables.
Compatibility
Works exclusively with Camden LazerPoint RF 915 MHz receivers: CM-RX-91 (1 relay) or CM-RX-92 (2 relay). The keypad transmits on two independent wireless channels; user codes 1–500 activate channel 1, codes 501–999 activate channel 2 (split mode), or individual codes can be assigned to either channel. Maximum 999 unique user codes with 10 million possible combinations. Supports variable or fixed-length codes (1 to 8 digits). Does not integrate with wired access control systems or third-party wireless protocols—RF communication is proprietary to Camden.
Installation Notes
Flush-mount single-gang stainless steel faceplate secures with #6-32 Phillips or tamperproof screws (both included). Includes REQUEST TO EXIT (REX) input and door contact input for door open/force open alarms. Features global lock-out capability and non-volatile EEPROM memory—programming survives battery replacement. Battery life is approximately 90,000 operations on two standard AA alkaline batteries (included). Metal housing provides vandal resistance; backlit keys and 3 LEDs plus piezo buzzer confirm entry attempts in low-light conditions.
