Camden CM-47S Surface Round Mount Strike Enclosure
Overview
The CM-47S is a 5-inch diameter surface-mounted round enclosure designed to house CM-40 series all-active heavy-duty door activation switches in wireless access control installations. Black flame and impact-resistant ABS construction, standard 1.75-inch depth — fits retrofit and new-build scenarios where the strike must mount directly to the door frame surface and concealed installation is not an option. UL/CSA approved for the compatible switch series.
Compatibility
Mounts with Camden CM-40 series all-active door activation switches. Designed for round-profile door frame installations. The extension ring aligns with crescents and standoffs to position the switch securely. Wireless credential reader integration is provisioned; verify your access control system's wiring and voltage requirements against the connected switch specifications before final commissioning.
Installation Notes
Mount the black polymer enclosure firmly against the surface or wall. Place the extension ring over the round box, aligning crescents with the center standoff. Install two 6-32 x 1-1/2-inch screws through the ring into the box — leave approximately 1/4 inch of clearance to allow the switch to mount. Slide the switch backplate groove over the bottom screw, insert the top screw through the backplate cutout, and slide the switch down. Tighten socket head screws (hex key supplied) to secure the switch. Tools required: screwdriver or supplied hex key.
