The CM-34CP is a single gang stainless steel cover plate for securing the faceplate area of door access control hardware in commercial installations. It mounts into a standard single gang electrical box and provides a finished, professional appearance while protecting the underlying wiring and strike mechanism from dust and tampering. Deploy this where you need a clean, durable cover for retrofit or new construction access control builds.
The CM-34CP is designed to work with Camden door control hardware and strikes rated at 30VDC. It fits standard single gang mounting boxes and is compatible with Camden's push button and exit switch assemblies. If you are integrating with third-party readers or strikers (HID, Salto, or other brands), verify that your chosen reader faceplate and wiring harness accommodate single gang box geometry before ordering — the CM-34CP itself is a passive cover and does not contain electronics, so compatibility depends on the active device it houses.
Mount the CM-34CP into a recessed or surface-mounted single gang electrical box using the fastening tabs on the rear of the plate. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion in damp or salt-spray environments (typical for parking garage and loading dock access points), but verify your application does not exceed indoor/covered outdoor use — submerged or full spray-wash environments may eventually pit stainless finishes. No power or data lines attach to the cover plate itself; all wiring connections occur at the active device (button, switch, reader) housed behind it. Ensure the box depth provides at least 2 inches of clearance for relay and terminal blocks inside.
