Description

Camden CM-TX-99 915MHz Plug-In RF Transmitter

Overview

The Camden CM-TX-99 is a 915MHz plug-in transmitter board designed to add wireless capability to keypad and touchless-switch access control readers where running additional cable is impractical or expensive. Install it by aligning the pins with the socket on a compatible keypad or switch — no external wiring required. This is the right fit when you need to eliminate conduit runs between a reader location and your receiver.

Compatibility

The CM-TX-99 pairs with the CM-120i/W Keypad and CM-331/332 Touchless Switches. It works with the Camden CM-RX-91 and CM-RX-92 Lazerpoint™ Receivers. Pairing takes roughly 10 seconds: press the learning button on the receiver, then within 10 seconds activate the keypad (enter a valid user code) or wave your hand in front of a touchless switch. A green LED flash confirms enrollment. If the 10-second window closes, the receiver times out and reverts to standby.

Installation Notes

Installation is straightforward — insert the transmitter board into the socket on the compatible keypad or touchless switch. No soldering, no external antenna, no separate power supply. The transmitter draws power directly from the host device. Pairing requires a small blunt object (such as a small screwdriver) to press the learning button on the receiver. Allow adequate RF line-of-sight between transmitter and receiver for reliable enrollment and operation.
