Overview

The CX-MA0614-38 is a 3/8" stainless steel filler plate designed to bridge frame-depth variations when installing Camden 600 lb. magnetic strikes. This accessory solves the alignment problem that arises when existing door frames or reinforced frame assemblies do not sit flush against the strike body—a common condition in retrofit installations, reinforced security doors, and frames with caulking or weather sealing already applied. The plate spaces the strike away from the frame surface to the correct engagement depth, ensuring the armature plate contacts the electromagnet with full holding force.

Compatibility

This filler plate is compatible with Camden's 600 lb. magnetic lock family operating at 24VDC. It integrates with all surface-mount and mortise-mount variants in the 600 lb. series. Use this accessory when frame depth, casing thickness, or installation geometry requires a fixed offset between the strike body and door frame to maintain proper magnetic engagement.

Installation Notes

The filler plate is installed between the strike body and the door frame using the same fastener pattern as the strike itself. Verify frame depth before ordering—measure the gap between the intended mounting surface and the point where the armature plate must seat for proper contact.
