The Camden CX-MA0614-58-BK is a 5/8" shimming plate designed to accommodate frame geometry variations when installing 600 lb capacity magnetic locks. Door frames rarely sit flush; this accessory bridges the gap between the strike face and the frame edge, ensuring the armature plate engages perpendicular to the magnetic lock body. Proper alignment is critical — even slight misalignment reduces holding force and can cause chattering or intermittent release. Black powder-coat finish blends into standard steel and aluminum frames.

Compatibility

This filler plate is designed for Camden 600 lb magnetic lock systems operating at 24VDC. It works with surface-mount and mortise-mount strike configurations where frame depth or surface unevenness requires spacing adjustment. Verify your magnetic lock's rated capacity before ordering — this plate is specific to 600 lb locks and will not function as a spacer for lower-capacity models (such as the 300 lb CX-90 series).
