Panduit A8-14R-C Battery Cable Lug
Overview
The Panduit A8-14R-C is a tin-plated copper compression lug designed for 8 AWG battery cables terminating on a 1/4" stud. It features a flared entry for easier wire insertion and high pullout strength, making it suitable for heavy-duty power applications where reliable connections are critical. This lug is embossed with the wire size for clear identification.
Compatibility
This lug is designed for use with 8 AWG stranded copper wire and connects to 1/4" studs. It is suitable for power applications and meets US Military Wire Pull Out Specs. It is cULus Listed for use in the US and Canada to UL 486A-486B standards.
Installation Notes
Requires appropriate crimping tooling for 8 AWG wire to ensure proper compression and electrical continuity. Consult the tooling manufacturer's specifications for recommended crimp dies and procedures to achieve maximum pullout strength and conductivity. The tin-plated finish offers corrosion resistance.
