Overview

The Panduit BKA6ASD8INBL is an 8-inch, black, Cat 6A UTP break-away adapter designed to solve the problem of accidental cable disconnections in structured cabling deployments. It allows standard patch cords to be easily and quickly disconnected via a pull-apart mechanism, preventing damage to the cable or port from sudden tugs. This adapter is optimized for use with Panduit™ patch cables and is suitable for environments where cables might be subject to incidental force, such as in high-density racks or under desks.

Compatibility

This break-away adapter is designed for use with standard UTP patch cables of Category 5e, 6, and 6A.
