Overview

The APC by Schneider Electric BK350 is a standby Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) designed to provide basic power protection for sensitive electronic equipment, including network devices, workstations, and point-of-sale systems. It offers surge protection for connected devices against common power surges and spikes, while its battery backup ensures brief operation during power outages, allowing for graceful shutdowns or continued operation for short periods. This unit is suitable for small office/home office (SOHO) environments or as a backup for critical network components where short-duration power is sufficient. The BK350 model provides 350VA / 210W capacity.

Compatibility

This UPS is designed for use with standard 120V AC equipment. It is compatible with a wide range of devices requiring up to 210 watts, including but not limited to: select network switches, modems, routers, entry-level servers, and desktop computers. It is also suitable for protecting surveillance cameras and their immediate network infrastructure during brief power interruptions. Ensure the total power draw of connected equipment does not exceed the unit's 210W capacity.

Installation Notes

The BK350 operates within a temperature range of 0 to 40°F (0 to 40°C) and requires a non-condensing humidity level between 5% and 95%. It features a 1.8-meter power cord. Audible alarms and LED indicators provide status updates on power conditions and battery status. The unit supports hot-swap batteries for continuous operation during battery replacement, provided a replacement battery is readily available. Battery recharge time is approximately 8 hours.
