Overview
The Axis 5504-921 is a 1.5" NPS aluminum wall mount designed for fixed dome camera installations where you need robust, vandal-resistant mounting on vertical surfaces. This bracket supports Axis pendant dome kits across the P32, P33, Q35, and Q36 series—meaning you can deploy the same mount across multiple camera generations without re-engineering. The IK10 rating handles accidental impacts and intentional tampering without deforming the bracket or losing camera alignment. Aluminum construction and powder-coated finish provide corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Compatibility
The 5504-921 works with Axis P32-series fixed domes (requires camera-specific pendant kit), P33-series (requires pendant kit), Q35-series (requires pendant kit), Q36-series (requires pendant kit), and P3707-PE outdoor box cameras (requires Axis T94M02D Pendant Kit). The 1.5" NPS thread is standard across these families, so once installed, you can swap compatible pendant kits without removing the bracket. Optional accessories include Axis Conduit Adapter U-shape for cable management and network cable couplers for sealed connections in exposed locations.
Installation Notes
Maximum load rating is 15 kg (33 lb), suitable for single 5–8 MP dome cameras with typical pendant kits. Cable routing options include a back hole for direct cable drop and M20 (3/4") side conduit holes for right-angle or chase runs. The included Axis T91A6 Pipe Seal prevents water ingress at the threaded connection—essential in outdoor or wet-environment installations. For outdoor use in corrosive settings (salt spray, high humidity), verify conduit material compatibility with local environmental codes.
